Posted by admin Comments (2)
Besides these things, are there any other nutrients the body needs to survive?
Vitamin C
B complex
Iron
Niacin
Hyaluronic acid
Alpha lipoic Acid
Amino Acids
Calcium
Magnesium
Vitamin K
Vitamin D
Selenium
Folic Acid
C-Q10
Biotin
and some herbs:
Milk Thistle
Licorice root
As a hypothetical experiment, if someone only had these could they survive or are they missing something?

No.
There are six basic nutrients that the body needs to survive. They are:
Water
Protein
Carbohydrate
Fat
Vitamins
Minerals
Your experiment is missing water, carbohydrate, fat, and some vitamins and minerals.
Fiber isn’t a necessary nutrient, but it will sure make you feel better if you have it in your diet!
You haven’t listed a carbohydrate source. Although the body has pathways to synthesize carbs, you could not meet your entire daily requirement that way.
